toria-parade, East Melbourne, the wife of Charles M. Davis of a daughter.

HODGSON.—On the 7th inst., at Bairnsdale, Gipps

Land, the wife of C. H. Hodgson of a son.

MACPHERSON.—On the 11th inst., at No. 77 Barkly-

street, Carlton, the wife of John Macpherson of a

son.

SMITH. —On the 9th inst., at Caulfield-lodge, Caulfield,

the wife of W. H. Smith, Esq., of a son.

DEATHS.

CLARK.—On the 12th inst., at her residence, Powlett-

street, East Melbourne, Mary Taylor, the beloved wife of Mr. J. J. Clark, and eldest daughter of Mr. Stephen Watmuff, Manchester, England, aged 26 years, deeply regretted. Leicester papers please

KILBURN.—On the 10th inst., at his residence, Hobart

Town, Tasmania, Douglas Thomas Kilburn, Esq., late of Victoria, aged 58.

WADICK.—On the 13th inst., at the Loughmore Hotel,

corner of Arden and Leveson streets, Hotham, Mrs. Bridget Wadick, widow of the late Mr. John Wadick, formerly of Templederry, county Tipperary, Ire-land, aged 78 years. R.I.P.

WHITE.—On the 12th inst., at 66 Elizabeth-street

north, Robert Aitken, the beloved son of the late Mr. William White, aged 17 years.
