;Lessee's Request to City Council

The refreshment kiosk erected by the City Council on the Perth Esplan-ade ls evidently not a paying concern

to the lessee.

At to-morrow's meeting of the City Council, following a letter from M. Donovan, the lessee, requesting varia-tions In his lease, and the report of the city treasurer, the council will be asked to approve that from the begin-ning of the second year of the lease the rental be reduced to £5 per week, on condition that the amount of £145/0/6, being arrears of rent and rates, be first paid, subject to the ap-proval of the finance committee, which makes this recommendation.
