MOORINE ROCK.

The land in this district is described as being peculiarly well adapted for sbeep breeding, with a view to growing good wool. The large crowd of people at Moorine Rock recently to attend a

lecture on sheep breeding by Mr. H. McCallum, at Mr. J. Keightley's farm, were agreeably surprised at the fine condition in which a small flock of 31 merino sheep were in. Since the sheep were brought from York a few weeks ago, they have done well on the pasture of Mr. Keightley's farm.
