YANDANOOKA.

This centre suffers from lack of ac- commodation, which is a disadvantage to the district 'Commercial travellers, with business to do in the place, com-plain of the inconvenience and hin-drance to their work. The local resi-dents also are often inconvenienced when wishing to board or alight from trains which pass through at night. Recently a petition was presented to the Licensing Board. Evidence will be submitted to the Licensing Reduction Board tn the local court, Mingenew, on Tuesday, May 24, asking for a license. In 1922 only 18,000 bags were sent away by rail: in 1926 the number had grown to 80,000, and well over 100,000 are expected next harvest.
