Further light showers have fallen, in

the country districts, but these, be-

yond replenishing water supplies, have

done more" harm than good. All nor thern parts of the state are exception-ally dry, with the exception of the Kimberleys, where one or two good thunder storms have fallen, Wyndham and Fitzroy being the two most favor ed stations. Inquiries for all classes of store stock in the farming districts, and for breeding ewes from the Mur-chison, and Gascoyne, are keen, and we are unable to supply the demand. Fat stock for the metropolitan markets have beeu in fair supply, lambs and

pigs being very dear at Wednesday's market, but cattle and sheep firm at late rates. Sales this week have been:

December 18.-We report having held a special sale as above, when we yard- ed and sold 250 cattle-50 from Messrs. H . Walsh and Sons Mileura Station and the balance from the Hon. Sept. Burt. The Mileura cattle were good to prime quality, and averaged £11/5/, but the Minnie Creek, cattle, owing to continued bad seasons, were only in fair store order; and the majority of them had to be. disposed of to graziers, the fats out of them selling from

£8/7/6 to £11/5/; light bullocks, in fair order. £5/12/6; stores, £5/3/.
