Titled 'Night Club,'

ft will be a modern story of a Melbourne man who ssarts a cabaret in spite of strong opposition from his farming father. A scheming actress tries to upset the enterprise. Director, and scriptwriter of this first fulllength picture to be made in Melbourne since the 'thirties is Dick Harwood, who

made Australian talkies in 1931. Producing company for 'Night Club' is Cambridge Films of Box Hill. Leading lady, in the part of the actress, is Melbourne singer Joan Bilceaux, who was runner-up to Leah McCartney in the recent Miss Victoria quest. A number of Melbourne vaudeville acts will be included in this semi-musical film.
