AUSTRALIAN CATTLE STATIONS.

MR. KIDMAN'S COMPANY. LONDON. March 30.

The Bovril-Australian Estates, Limited, the company formed as a result of Mr. S. Kidman's visit to England to acquire his station properties' in Central Australia and

the 'Northern Territory, are reported to have obtained possession of the Victoria River Downs, Carlton Hill,' and Northcote Stations, together with about 200,000 head of cattle. The purchase price was £200,000. Mr. 'Kidman, Lord Brassey, Mr. C. H. Rason, and Sir E. H. Wittenoom form the 'directorate of the company, which has .a capital of £250,000. Mr. Rason will assume the position of managing director of the concern upon his retire- ment from the Western Australian Agency-General next October.
