MISSIONARY STUDENTS MIGRATING.

For some years a commodious building at Belair, which was the centre of much successful philanthropic work, first under the name of the Inebriates'

Retreat, has been used, with the title ot Hope Lodge, as a training college for male missionary students. It has now once more changed its name and its methods of usefulness. For some time the feeling has been acute that owing to their distance trom the city the students were placed at a serious disadvantage in the matter of tuition by city ministers and others. Ef-forts were made to obtain a building as nearly central as is the Angas College at North Adelaide, devoted to the training of lady missionary students. On Saturday, as the result of negotiations, the Belair Lodge was vacated, and 30 students removed to new quarters at North Kensington, where a large house and fine piece of pro-perty, consisting ot six acres, have been purchased from the trustees of the late Mr. Gilbert Wood. Hope Lodge, it is un-derstood, has been secured by Mr. George Downer, who will let the property to a religious body for use as a hydropathic sanatorium.
