CRIMINAL SESSIONS.

Tho following prisoners are awaiting their trial at the general sessions, which commences at the County Court House to-morrow :

Mary Bennett, stealing from the person.

Susan Caldwell, stealing from the person. John F. Burnside, embezzlement. Georgo Watson, attempt at arson.

Michael Sullivan, violent assault, with at-tempt to rob.

James Jenkins, violent assault, with at-tempt to rob.

James Randall, violent assault, with at-tempt to rob.

Robert Anderson, uttering a forgery.

Lawrence White, forgery and uttering.

Thomas Edgerton, stealing a watch from a dwelling. _____________

A SNAKE about sixteen feet long has been seen in the Western District lately, according to a statement in the Hamilton Spectator.
