VICTORIA BEATS SOUTH AUSTRALIA

AGAIN.

Melbourne, September 10. -

The series of baseball games between inter-State teams was resumed on the Fitzroy

ground to-day... In the first contest, between a second Victorian team and South Australia, the teams were South Aus-tralia Buchanan, Ewers, Roberts, Rowe, Lanyon, Mellish, M-Carron, Green, and Doolette. Victoria Carris, Ponsford, Ramsden, Easter, Calling, Newbound. R. Cohen. Morris, Sinclair. The visitors showed up badly in the field, making itmore as against two by Victoria. Easter led the batting for the home team, with Ponsford and Ramsden (home runs). Sinclair and Calling also displayed excellent batting. The scores were Victoria, 276 South Australia, 4
