in Adelaide today* HfR. Collins produced the AusaL tralian film 'Strong is the Seed,' which will have its world premiere at the Majestic Theatre on Friday night. He said:— 'I dont make this claim idly, because Z have pro

duced for the stage and screen in England and America. Australians should make films for world markets right here in Australia. They have everything: in their favor. ? 'As well as acting, the technical side is at least as good as anywhere else.' Mr. Collins said Adelaide audiences would see many radio people in 'Strong is the Seed,' a 90-minutes feature film. Cast included Guy Dolman, Maree Marsden, Lloyd Lamble, Queenie Ash ton, Frank Bradley, Eric Reiman Nellie Lamport, George Randall, Enid Lorimer, Alfred Bristowe, Harvey Adams, Ossie Wenburn, June Mendoza, Ben Lewin, and John Cazabon. Filmed near Canberra Much of the story, which is based on the life of the Australian wheat pioneer, William Farrar, was filmed on Farrar's old property near Canberra. Mr. Collins, who now lives in Melbourne, came to Australia from America in 1939.
