SEASON FAIRLY DRY AT ARCOONA
Mr. R. J. McEwin, who is a partner in the Arcoona Pastoral Co., and who owns Arcoona Station, a huge property north-west of Port
Augusta, said this week that seasonal conditions up there have been fairly dry. However, very useful, though patchy rains have fallen recently, and although not heavy enough to fill any surface tanks, they were enough to start the feed on many parts of the run. Some parts are still very dry, but where the rains did fall the feed has responded splendidly. Sheep are all in good heart, and shearing will start next week.
