FOOTBALL.

CLARENDON, April 16 Delegates consisting of Messrs. Baldock and Waite (Noarlunga) A Bruce and Townsend (Hillside), W Bottrill and S Biddle (hangars), and h. Mitchell and W Potter (Clarendon) met at the residence of Mr Bruce at Hillside, on Wednesday evening to make arrangements for the proposed football association Mr W Bottrill was chairman. It was unanimously decided to form an association, to be called The Alexandra Football Association," and to consist of the four clubs represented. It was decided that each club pay a fee of £2, that all umpire' fees be paid through the association secretary A code of rules were drawn up to improve the standard of football. constitute the first rounds delegates to meet at Kangarilla and Hillside at least once in six weeks Every player is to be provided with a copy of the constitution and rules, with programme of matches and permit attached. Officers elected-Patron, iii C J Dashwood, K.C , president, Mr R Morgan hon. secretary and treasurer Mr A. Bruce auditors, Messrs. W E. Bottrill and E. H Mitchell, umpires. Messrs. S Cottage and F Jones. The association matches are to commence on May 10. A meeting of the Clarendon Football Club was held in the town hall on Thursday evening Mr G Paddick presided. It was decided to make several slight unprovement- to the playing arena. Mr B. Powell was elected to fill the vacancy on the selection committee. Mr J- H.
