The Institute Hall was crowded on Monday evening on the occasion of the annual concert of the pupils of the Sisters of St. Joseph. The programme consisted of an operetta, a comedy

in three acts, two pianoforte duets, two pianoforte double trios, an overture, songs, choruses, and tableaux. The children were prettily dressed, and entered into tbe various items with much spirit, at the same time giving evidence of careful training. The audience were liberal in their expressions of approval. A meeting of the Barossa Political Reform League was held last night, the President (Mr. H. P. Wilkinson) in the chair. Arrangements were made for holding meetings at Angaston and Gawler shortly. It was decided to help forward the agitation for the adoption of the Land Values Assessment Bill by Gawler, and it was decided that £15 per year be guaranteed towards the cost of the Red Van campaign projected in Adelaide. Mr. J. Hilton was elected Treasurer in succession to Mr. A. G. Wells. Messrs. Martin & Co. sent away another broad-gauge locomotive to-day. It was one of the Class S.
