BIRTHS. GILBERT.— On the 31st August, at Pawsey Vale, the wife of Wm. Gilbert, of a son. MARRIAGES. JULIAN— PLACE.— On the 18th September, at the residence of the bridegroom, Beltana, by the Rev. C. H. Brooks, John Albert, only son of Edward Julian, of Wirrabara, to Margaret Florence, youngest daughter of William Place, of Blinman. DEATHS. HOLLAND.—On the 19th September, at Yellan- gip, Warracknabeal, Victoria, of inflammation of the lungs, Walter John Holland, formerly of Morphett Vale and Minlacowie, Yorke's Peninsula, aged 41 years. TAYLOR.—On the 3rd August, at Janetstown, Latheron, Caithness. Scotland, .lemima Voung. relict of the late Benjamin Taylor, and mother of Robert Tavlor, I'avnuiiam, in her Sl»t year. PARTRIDGE— On the 19th September, after great suffering during the last three months, Mary, eldest daughter of the late William Giles, of the South Australian Company, and the beloved wife of Josiah Partridge, of Malvern. near Clarendon, S. A., aged 75 years. Deeply regretted by her many relatives and friends. MICHELL— On the 21st September, at Gover-street, North Adelaide, James Henry Michell. youngest and dearly beloved son of Thomas and Emily E. Michell, aged 17 years. IN MEMORIAM. BOLLEN — Rebecca, wife of Dr. Bollen, Port Adelaide, departed this life at Mount Barker, 18th June. 1892, in her 67th year. BOLLEN— Doctor, suddenly 'taken from the evil to come.' -22nd September, 1892, in Currie-street, Adelaide. A copy of the following vcrses was fonnd in his pocket after death, he had been much impressed by them during August and September: — Being perplexed. I say— Lord : make it right !
