Mrs. A. K. Goode's Husband Dies

Mr. William Edward Goode, husband of Mrs. A. K. Goode, and one of the best known pastoralists of the West- Coast, who died at Payneham road, Stepney, was

born in Adelaide 72 years ago. Mr. Goode was educated at Young's Grammar School, Adelaide. Mr. Goode managed White's River station for his uncle, and at his uncle's death became owner of the property. Mr. Goode was closely interested in sheep breeding, and bred some fine strains. He was also interested in bee farming, and it was through his advocacy that the first bee farms in the Port Lincoln district were started. Mr. Goode is survived by two sons, and a daughter, Miss Nora Goode. Mr. Evan Goode and Mr. Brice Goode, who studied law and science respectively at the University of Adelaide, are both on the land at Port Lincoln. Mr. Evan Goode was ad- mitted to the Supreme Court and Mr. Bruce Goode graduated B.Sc.
