Cereals Make Cooking Economical And Easy SYDNEY, Monday.--The economy and speed of cooking with ready-to-eat cereals was the subject of an address by Miss Margaret Fulton, home economist for a leading firm of cereal manufacturers.

. "With more wives and mothers working, speed and ease in food preparation is a 'must'," Miss Fulton said. "Many women have had no training in home making, and packaged and ready-prepared foods, like cereals, cake, pastry and biscuit mixes, canned and frozen foods, make life easier for busy working mothers." Miss Fulton said that the modern housewife has not time for failures, and with cereal cooking one did not have failures. "You can make the most glamorous pies, which not only look good, but have a new delicious

nutty flavour with no baking," she said. "I know that sounds far fetched but you do not have to bake the pies you make with cereals.' During the function there was a distribution of hot muffins' made with bran. "These are quick and easy to make and are most economical," said Miss Fulton.
