Mr. Rouse's two mobs have passed down thc river, but their destination is not fixed.

A large number of teams have passed here lately both with wool down and goods up ; several have also passedjdown empty, no wool being abtainablc.

This day's Government Qazttle notifies that tho owners of mus within tho Railway Reserves who wish to have their runs con

eolidated are raj ti ired to give not ice to the Secretary for Lauds within three months from thc passing of the Reserves Act, which term expires on thc 5th of December next.

The following appointments are Gazetted :Frederick Rawlins, to bo Under-Colonial Secretary, in the room of Hugh Hamon Massie ; Charles Wright Macaulay, to be Assistant Clerk in thc Police Office, Rock-hampton, thc appointment to date from the

1st of March last.

A petition from the residents of Clermont for a commonage is published.
