The Ridgelands is DOW the most populous gold-field in tho colon;, and yet there is na postoffice established here, which ia felt a» s very great inconvenience.

A petition is being sent to the Postmaster. General, praying that a post-office ma; be es-tablished here, and I trust that you «ill support prayer of said petition.
