COURSING.

PLUMPTON CLUB FORMED

A meeting of coursing men was held at the Ter-minus Hotel on Monday evening. Mr. D. M. Mack presided. On the motion of Mr. H. Mort, se-conded by Mr. R. Vickery, it was decided to form a club to be called the Adelaide Plumpton Coursing Club, to control plumpton coursing at Plympton, in accordance with terms of agree-ment entered into with the Adelaide Polo Club. Mr J T. Tait, who, with Mr. E. W. Warmington, of Port Adelaide, promoted a marine excursion in aid of the funds, announced that the venture would result in a profit of £10 or £12. He stated

that another one would be conducted on Decem-ber l8. Officials were elected as follows: Patron, Mr. C. H. Angas; president, Mr. J. Creswell; com-mittee, Messrs. F. Frost, H. S Coombe, D. M. Mack, E. W. Warmington, J. Waits, T. Con-way, T. Stevens, A. Forbes. E. McKay, J. Tait, R.(?) Thomas, T. Watkins; chairman of commlttfee. Mr. D. M. Mack; secretary pro tem, Mr. A.
