MISCELLANEOUS. Captain Leslie Orme Wilson, D.S.O., who was A.D.C. to the Governor of New South Wales from 1903 to 1909, and mar-ried last year Wynifred, eldest daughter of Captain Charles Smith, of Goderich, Sydney, contested the Reading seat. One of the Mile End constituents of the Hon. Harcy Lawson (U.) specially travelled from Monte Carlo to record his vote. Mr. Lawson's majority over his opponent was only two votes.
