FLOOD TOLL IN INDIA

Katmandu, Sunday: The deathroll in Nepal's worst floods of this century has risen to at least 60.

It is feared the toll will rise even higher. Rivers are still rising.

Most of the deaths have been in the Terai region, which lies against the foot-hills and borders on India's Bihar State, where the Kosi River has devasted large areas.
