"Flying wife" for divorce

LONDON, June 11 (Special) — Red-haired Mrs. Richarda Morrow-Tait, 26, the "flying housewife" who

circled the world in a year and a day, is being sued for divorce. Misconduct is alleged with Michael Townsend, 26, Cam-bridge University student, who was her co-pilot during most of her trip. Mrs. Morrow-Tait said yesterday: 'I will not contest the suit. All I want is the custody of my two children— Anna, 3, and Giles, 6 weeks.' When stranded in Alaska during her trip, which ended last August, she sent a mes-sage to her husband in Eng-land:"Please tell him I love him very much, and miss him terribly." She later described him as "the most wonderful man God ever made." Her husband, Mr. Norman Morrow-Tait, is an aeronauti-cal engineer.
