The bride wore emeralds

FOR her marriage to Mr. Peter Leslie Orme Wilson at St. Mary's, Kangaroo Point, yesterday afternoon. Miss Isobel Margaret Ferrier wore a magnificent parure of emeralds and pearls.

With a soft magnolia sheer gown she wore a hand-em-broidered veil. The parure, with matching earrings, is an heirloom in the family of the bridegroom, who is the elder son of Sir Leslie and Lady Wilson. The bride is the elder daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. James Fer-rier, of Surat. St. Mary's Church was chosen by Mr. Peter Wilson because his parents had been regular worshippers there when Sir Leslie was Governor of Queens-land. Because the church is away from main traffic arteries

there were no crowds of curi-ous sightseers. The church was comfortably filled. Miss Mary Tuite, the brides-maid, wore bud pink. Mr. Tom Bartlett was best man. At the reception at Twenty-nine Murray Street, 40 guests were entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Ferrier. Sir Leslie and Lady Wilson came from England especially for the wedding. They will re-turn south to-morrow to sail, by the Orontes. Mr. and Mrs Peter Wilson will honeymoon in Sydney.
