SITE BOUGHT FOR MISSION FOR NATIVES The West Australian Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists has secured a property with an abundant water supply 35 miles north of Meekatharra, on which it plans to establish a mission for the aborigines. This was announced by the conference secretary.(Mr. R. W. Lang) yesterday; The mission will be known as Karalundi and its main objective will be to assist children and young people. The conference, Mr. Lang, said, was working in collaboration with the Department of Native Welfare and the. Education Department and with their assistance. -A volunteer party of 20 tradesmen and helpers would leave Perth soon to erect buildings on the mission site. The cost of the material for the initial buildings to be erected this year would be £10,000, Mr. Lang said. During this month and April the Seventh-Day Adventists were making their annual appeal to the public on behalf of their general uplift mission work, he said. A target of £6,000 for Western Australia had been set, £110,000 being the target for Australasia.
