iifeboat Birth CUXHAVEN (Germany), Mon.-A 10lb. boy was born yesterday in a lifeboat which was speeding the young mother from her home on Langeoog Island, off the North German coast, to a mainland hospital. The coxswain helped a midwife travelling with the woman to deliver the baby then turned back to the island. Mother and boy were reported to be doing fine. -Reuters. Self-Made Torch PTITSBURGI, Mdn.-Mrs. Marion Metz told police today that she was working in the yard of her house when her 27-yearold husband came-out of the kitchen, his clothes soaked in petrol. He:asked her for a match, and when she refused he turned and went back into the. house. Moments later he came out again with a match, struck it and set alight to his clothes.
