WAREHOUSE PASSED IN. AT £15,000 What was described by the auctioneer as one of the biggest warehouses ever to be offered for sale in Fremantle was passed in at an auction yesterday after a sole bid of £15,000. Subsequently, an offer of £20, 000 was made, but this, too, was refused. Private negotiations are proceeding. Situated in a central position of Fremantle, the warehouse has frontages of 99ft. to both Henry and Pakenham streets, a floor area of nearly 24,000 sq. ft., and is built of brick and stone. The lease for its present tenant expires in 12 months. The property was offered for sale on behalf of the owner, W. D. Moore and Co. Pty. Ltd., by J3. J. and F. G. Higham (1932). About 25 people attended the auction.
