FATAL CASE OF SNAKE-BITE.

On Thursday a lad named Chapman, aged, 15, while engaged bird catching near Coo-nong, was bitten on the calf of the leg by, a tiger snake. His companion promptly fastened a ligature around the leg and sucked the puncture. Afterwards he drove Chapman to Urana, where a doctor treated him immediately upon arrival. Unfortunately
