By FIRST ON

With a brilliant last quarter burst, East Torrens beat North Adelaide 15—8 on Saturday to

win its fourth successive lacrosse premiership. It was. Torrens sixth premiership in seven years. The game was played at a fast pace throughout with East Torrens always going slightly the better. Gorman, who was the best on the ground, had the better of the duel with Johnston and was indirectly responsible for most of Torrens's goals.? ? Johnston failed to body check Gorman who frequently dodged past him and created a loose man. Torrens led 8—5 at the long interval and appeared to have the game In the bag. but in an exciting third quarter North fought back to even at 8-all. But late is the quarter Gorman dodged Johnston to score and followed up with a nice pass to Taylor to give Torrens a 10 — 8 lead at the last change. Challenge finals will be necessary in B. C. and E grades, where the minor premiers were beaten. Brighton won the D grade title.
