"God is Good" Says

Sultan Aziz.

Sultan Aziz, who claims to be 112 years of age, walked into town today from the mosque in Williams Street, to settle some business with the Water Board.

He told a representative of "The Miner" that his eyesight was fail-ing, but otherwise he was flt enough for his years, explaining it with an expressive. "God is good."

During his life as a camel teamster in Australia, Sultan Aziz staged a camel race meeting for the late King George V. at Kalgoorlie, and carted wool for the late Sir Sidney Kidman.

He says he has been married three times, and has a son working on an

outback station.

He came to Australia from India more than 60 years ago, and landed in Albany. He was a camel breaker in his "younger" days, and worked round the West Australian goldfields before coming to local districts.

"I remember when there was no station at Kalgoorlie," he said. "People waiting for the train used to sit in the dirt on the side of the line."
