KILLING SEASON AT MEATWORKS WYNDHAM. April 27: The 1951 killing season at the Wyndham Meatworks began today. The first cattle slaughtered were a draft of 700 odd bullocks from Argyle Downs station. All goodquality bullocks, they were an indication of the good season which the country has experienced generally. A consignment of 19 poll Shorthorn bulls . from Goonoogoonoo. Tamworth, New South Wales, arrived at Wyndham in the Koolinda on Monday for Argyle Downs. The bulls are being transported to the station by truck.
