On the 27th instant, at Coventry-street, Little Emerald Hill, the wife of Mr. Christopher Jobson,

of a daughter.

On the 26th inst., at Argyle-street, Collingwood, Mrs. George Bell, of a son.

MARRIED.

On the 25th inst., by the Rev. J. Smith, at the Cathedral, Melbourne, Ross Richards Homfray, Esq., only son of the late Richards Homfray, Esq., grandson of the late Sir Ross Donnelly and nephew of Admiral Sir James Stirling, to Agnes Elizabeth Jennette, youngest daughter of Charles F. Elder-ton, Esq., late of Clifton, Somerset.

On the 24th inst., by special license, by the Rev. Dr. Cairns, John McIntyre, Esq., of Glasgow, to Jane Grant, fifth daughter of the late Alexander

Grant, Esq., spirit merchant, Gallowgate, corner of Moore-street, Glasgow.

DIED.

On the 28th inst., at Northcote, James Moss, aged sixty years.

On the 27th inst., at Bourke-street east, William Bradhurst, the youngest son of Frederick Steel,

aged eighteen months.

On the 27th inst., Mary Susan, eldest daughter of George and Mary May, of Madeline-street, late of Tunbridge Wells, Kent, aged two years and nine months, beloved by all who knew her.

On the 25th inst., at the Duke of Wellington Hotel, Windsor, Mr. Richard Spurr, aged fifty-four years, a worthy, good, and benevolent man.

On the 26th inst., at Richmond, after a short ill-ness, Thomas Henry, the only and beloved son of Thomas Henry and Sarah Jane Hadley, late of Cambridge, Gloucestershire, deeply lamented by his parents and friends.
