SKYMASTER CRASH Open Inquiry By W.A. Judge CANBERRA, Oct. 31: The Commonwealth is expected to seek the services of Mr. Justice Wolff, of the West Australian Supreme Court to inquire into the crash of the Skymaster Amana. He will be assisted by technical assessors. Mr. Justice Wolff presided at the inquiry into the loss of a MacRobertson Miller Aviation Co. aircraft at Guildford in July, 1949. A decision to hold an open inquiry was announced in the House of Representatives today by the Minister for Civil Aviation (Mr. White). Mr. Gullett (Lib. Vic.) said that the widow of one of the victims had not received an insurance payment or a death certificate to enable her to administer the estate. Mr. White said that delay in payment of insurance was not the Government's responsibility. He would investigate the delay mentioned by Mr. Gullett.
