WOOL LESS. GREASY LEONORA, May 18: Most shearing contractors in this district are experiencing no difficulty in adhering to their schedules despite a general.increase in the number of sheep being handled. One contractor this week said that most shearers were finding fleeces much easier to handle and thus were able to increase their daily tallies. He attributed this to the shortage of green feed making fleeces less greasy than in the past two seasons. Although sheep are still in good condition from ample dry feed they are carrying less fat. Glenorn's Good Clip It was learnt in Perth yesterday that the completed clip at Glenorn Station, Malcolm. was 322 bales of wool from 12,245 sheep, including 3,084 lambs. All sheep carried only 11 month's wool. The station's wether hoggets averaged 11.81b. of wool a head. The manager of the station reported that the Mules operation performed on last year's lambs had turned out amazingly well.
