Mr. Hill, a brother of the late Clem Hill, famous international left-hand batsman, md of 'Solly' Hill, both of whom pltyed football for Norwood, was » line half -back and contemporary of such players as Esstncton Lewit. Lionel Hill. Alby Bahr and 'Sauasher' Barnes. Except for a period spent In New Zealand, Mr. Roy Hill maintained a close association with his old club and at his death was a committeeman.
