Hark Bock!

Looking astonishingly fit and hardly a day older than when he played football for Norwood' 20

years ago, Clarrie Curyer revisited Adelaide this week. Curyer's ability, mostly in defence and sometimes on the hall, gained him inclusion in the State team that played in the 1933 carnival in Sydney. Shortly afterwards he transferred to St. Kilda in the Victorian League. He is now a fire brigade officer at Melbourne headquarters. His 14-year-old son ('big-ger than I am') is playing in the Victorian Amateur Association, . despite his father's endeavors to lure him away to tennis, Footnote: Nineteenyearold Dave Curyer, Glenelg wingman, is Clarrie Curyer's cousupu— Harry Kneebone.
