LACROSSE.

JAMESTOWN CLUB.—A meeting was held on Saturday evening at Jamestown to form a lacrosse club. Mr. G. H. Lake presided. There was a good attendance. The following

officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. T. Thomas (Mayor of Jamestown) ; President, Mr. H. Boucaut ; and five Vice-Presidents ; captain, Mr. C. J. Reade; vice, Mr. S. M. Turner. The club will have a splendid piece of ground to play on in the recreation pad- dock.
