William Bailey, cordial-maker, George Zeel, dealer, James Martin, baker, H. H. Engle, baker, J. H. Afford, grocer, Henry Bickford, cordialmaker, Francis Downing, driver. Carl Ohlmeyer,

butcher. Thomas Brew, dairyman, and Thomas Hourne, dairyman, were fined 5s. each and fees for neglecting to have their place of abode and weight of vehicle painted on their vehicles. H. Vsrkcr, tailor, was fined £2 and cotte for being the owner of a dog that rushed out and attacked William Collins, a youth, at Adelaide, on October S9. POLICE AKD OTHER CASKS. Sickard Ii Miami, labourer, was charged, on tbe information of Elizabeth Hayes, with failing to comply with an order of the Court to support bis illegitimate child. Mr. Pater for the prosecntrix. Defendant was ordered to psy the arrears— £18 lls.— and costs, or in default six months' imprisonment. John Anicnw, labourer, was charged with obtaining refreshment* from Mary Anu Richards, landlady of tbe Clarendon Hotel, by false pretence*. Primmer pleaded guilty, and was sent to gaol for 14 days. John Edirardt, fFilliam Grant, Ptter Wilton, George Utoddart, and John Richard ton. labourers, wire fined 10s. eacb, and Jamts Hewitt, an aboriginal, ISs. for drunkenness. Fauhna Harris was fined £1 for using indecent language in Wa)month-itreet,aLd for a&stulting Police-constable Hoghit she wai ordered to psy 80s. William Stack, labourer, was fined 10a. for using indecent Isnguage. Ho wu further charged with assaulting Police-constable Pinson and damaging hi* uniform. Defendant pleaded guilty, and was fined £5. John William*, labourer, for riotous behaviour in Hiudley-strcet, was fined 10s. Polly Moore wu fined £1 for drunkenness and using indecent langurge. Thomas Egan, labourer, wa* fined 10). for using indecent language at Hindmarsb. George liavku and John Jiarsh, labourers, were charged, on tbe information of James Stephen Shngg, with stealing one watch, value £2 10s , bis property, at Adelaide, on November 8. Mr. 8. G. Kingston defended. The cue wu dismissed.
