MOVING PICTURE ON TOURIST STEAMER

Last Stage In Production Of "Squatter's Daughter" SYDNEY, August 16.

The tourists who returned from the New Hebrides in the liner Oronsay to- day were provided with an unexpected piece of entertainment as the vessel

made its way up the harbor to its berth. As soon as the doctor had completed his inspection oS Bradley's Head and before the early morning mists had quite cleared, a launch, loaded with cumbrous equipment, came alongside Ir.nd the occupants, about 20 of Them, climbed up the gangway laden -with tripods, cameras, reflectors, long coils of insulated wire and boxes of electrical sear. The appearance of three men, with faces carefully made up in an arresting brown tint, left no doubt in the minds of the curious passengers as to the purpose of the new arrivals. A moving picture, or part of one, wa6 to t>e made on board. Tile three actors. Messrs. W. Lane Baylill, George Closs and Pantit. were members of the cast of "The Squatter's Daughter." which is being produced by Cinesound. With the making r>f the shipboard scene today on the Oronsay, the actual filming of the picture was completed, l?avin<r only the cutting and editing to complete it for exhibition.
