Long Trek On
Camels
Sultan Aziz, one of the most pic-turesque figures in the Afghan com-munity, has returned after many months of wandering in the country, and giving children and adults camel rides at Portland, Victoria.
Sultan Aziz found that the Vic-torian climate was too cold for him, and he made the long trek of 700 miles back to Broken Hill on riding camels. He was four months on the
trip.
Sultan Aziz said that many of the people on the beaches had never pre-viously seen camels, and they paid anything from a penny to six-pence for rides.
