BUSSELTON JETTY FIRE. BUSSELTON, Dec. 25.--Shortly before 9 pJm. on Saturday the Bus-selton Volunteer Fire Brigade was summoned to extinguish a fire on the Busselton jetty, about a mile from the shore. The fire engine was driven along the jetty to the scene of the outbreak, but the fire was put out with buckets after a number of planks had been removed, so that water could be poured on the understructure. Very little damage was done. Every year the brigade has to at-tend fires on the jetty caused by fishermen throwing down lighted cigarettes, and it is considered that this was the cause of last night's fire.
