DROVERS STRICKEN WITH FEVER.

Brisbane, Tuesday.

A drover named Albert Williams yesterday arrived on the Millee boundary, near Charleville (Queensland), with 2606 head of mixed cattle from the Lissdale and Argyle Downs sta- tions (West Australia), travelling dir-ect 2400 miles

Tho trip was particularly rough.

Many of the drovers were stricken with fever, and one of them (Thomas

Stafford) died.
