AN ABORIGINAL HOMICIDE.

LET OFF WITH A LIGHT

SENTENCE.

Perth. Thursday.

At the Criminal Court to-day, an aboriginal named "Wombat" was charged with, the murder of another native, Ningor, otherwise "Charcoal, at Yundamindera.

The accused was found guilty of manslaughter, but was recommended to mercy on the ground that he had received great provocation. He was sentenced to three months' imprison ment.
