LACROSSE.

NOARLUNGA CLUB.—A meeting of persons interested in this new game was held in the Noarlunga Schoolroom on Thursday even-ing, 16th inst., when it was decided to form

a lacrosse club at Noarlunga. The following officers were elected:—Captain, Mr. J. S. Wainwright; Vice-Captain, Mr. J. C. Dungey ; committee, Messrs. G. C. Fead, C. B. Canham, and P. Port, with Captain and Vice - Captain. Club uniform — White knickers, cardinal jersey, hose, and cap. It was also decided to play under the rules as adopted by the Adelaide Lacrosse Club. Gentlemen to fill the positions of Patron, President, and Vice-President were nomi-nated, subject to their approval. The club at present numbers fourteen, each member being provided with la crosse. Votes of thanks were passed to Mr. J. S. Wain-wright for his untiring efforts to introduce the game to Noarlunga, and to the Secretary of the Adelaide Club and Messrs. Fead and Canham for their assistance.
