Cattle Station In North Quarantined

^Following the recent outbreak of pleura-pneumonia among cattle on the stock route to NSW and Queensland.

i quarantine oruer covering the whole of Quinyambie station, near the NSW border, has been issued. Under the order, no cattle may be moved fram the property without a permit. The chief inspector of stock (Mr. R. H. F. Macindoe) said last night that the quarantine jrder was 'purely precautionary.' Only about 2.000 cattle were affected. Mr. H. J. Bird, of 8. Kidman and Co., which controls the Quinyambie Pastoral Co., said that there was no stock route through the station. Precautions were being enforced, however, because of the proximity of Quinyambie to Lake Frome station, where the outbreak of pleuro-pneumonia had occurred. )
