Provisions of the Will.

ADELAIDE, Friday Afternoon.

The will of the late Sir Henry Ayers was sworn to-day not to exceed £226,000. The whole estate is devised and bequeathed to trustees upon trust, after payment of all debts and liabilities and the annuity and legacies mentioned in the will, for the testator's four sons — Frank Richman Ayers, Harry Lockett Ayers, Frederick Ayers, and Arthur Ernest Ayers in equal shares, with a provision for a division amongst the children of any son who should predecease the testator of a sum equivalent of the value of the share which the deceased son would have taken had he survived the testator. One son, Frederick, it will be recollected, predeceased the testator by some months. The annuity and legacies in addition to the provision made for old servants, are as follow : John Breaks Ayers (brother of the testator), an annuity of £300 per annum; Mrs. John Bagot (daughter), in addition to her marriage settlement and a bequest of carriages and horses, £2000 ; Lady Ayers' Homes, £300; Home for Incurables £100; Adelaide Children's Hospital, £100; the Sisters of St Joseph, £100; St. Mar-

garet Convalescent Hospital, £50; Sama-ritan fund, Adelaide Hospital, £50; Insti-tution for the Blind, Deaf, and Dumb,

Brighton, £50; Industrial School for the Blind, North Adelaide, £50; Church of England Institute, £50 ; and Young Men's Christian Association, £50. The above legacies are free of succession duty, which is to be paid out of the estate.
