THIS is the 50th-anniversary year of the Kosci

usko Alpine Club, which will get the snow season off to an even gayer start than usual with an un usual gluhwein party on June 27.

The party will be held at the Vaucluse home of commit tee member Helen Reed, who will be hostess to about 60 skiers. Helen, who will serve the gluhwein ? mulled claret and burgundy to the uniniti ated ? with ravioli and spag hetti, told me proudly, ''We're

the oldest club on the snow."

In addition to celebrations actually on the snow, the club will hold its ball at the Went worth on August 8.
