IT'S MICK ("NED KELLY") JAGGER

"GAME AS NED KELLY? What do you want me to do? Ride a horse through Glenrowan and shoot peas at the people?" Jagger said he wasn't "a rebel against everything - just don't like complete submission of the individual." From left Clarissa Kaye, Janne Wolmsley, Mick, Sue Lloyd.

"I AM TAKING this film very seriously," says Jagger. "Kelly won't look anything like me. You wait and you'll see what I look like. I want to concentrate on being a character actor." Of his clothes, he said he wore what he liked. Point about his appearance was white strong teeth

Mick Jagger, surprisingly affable, faced his Sydney Press conference with obvious gusto. Half an hour late because his girlfriend. Marianne Faithfull, had collapsed and been taken to hospital, he sprawled in front of the usual barrage of microphones to answer (with quick cockney wit) a variety of questions under the hawklike

gaze of film director Tony Richardson.

MICK JAGGER told the Press conference that his ambition was to make one film a year and devote the rest of the time to his music. "I really dig music." he said, "and not just pop music." Asked about the coat which he teamed with tapestry trousers, he said, "I think they call it monkey fur."
