[Received December 28, 8 p.m.] London, December 28. DEATH OF A QUEENSLAND JUDGE.

The Hon. Edmund Sheppard, one of the Puisne Judges in Queensland, who arrived in England recently from that colony, is dead. Mr. Justice Sheppard obtained leave of absence on the ground of impaired health, and when he left Brisbane was in great hopes of having it re-established by a voyage to his native land.
