FRONTIER RIOTS

HUNDREDS REPORTED

HEW DELHI, Feb. 21 (AJLP.).-: Hundreds of persons nave been killed in Hindu-Moslem rioting, which has raged for 12 days along the East Pakistan-India frontier.

Official Indian sources said to-day that the bodies of 200 victims were cremated during the first two days of the rioting in the East Pakistan city of Dacca, 150 miles north-east of Calcutta. Indian officials said that the riots started on Feb-

ruary 10 when Moslems paraded in Dacca and distributed pamphlets printed in blood-coloured ink, de-manding revenge on Hindus.

These informants alleged that the riots were the direct result of in-citement by leading members of the Moslem League. They claimed that the Pakistan authorities did noth-ing to restrain them.
